Isn’t there a wonderful new translation of Dante out there–is it by Robert Fagles, the guy who did such a brilliant job with Homer? Love the illos from the University of Texas site, they look scary/creepy…

Traditionally you only read the hell section and ignore the others. i’ve often seen it in English bookstores in China, along with Dickens and John Grisham.
