An intelligent mind is required to understand the process of creation. A mind devoid of critical thinking skills, packed instead with blind faith-filled perceptiions, unwilling to use one’s God-given ability to reason, is quite unlikely to understand such a complex process.

No, I think he was being unintentionally ironic there, Sean.

A mind devoid of critical thinking skills . . .

would be oblivious to the question-begging inherent in claims about the universe having been “created,” and about one’s ability to reason being “God-given.”

Got any Seuss at hand that you could use in this meme?

I’m a little confused ????
Can you explain it to me, like I’m a five year old.
How can, obviously non-intelligent entities. Even conceive the thought of, intelligent design ?

Just a joke
or just a poke
I’m sure,
they are,
all good folk

If edbooked’s response is real then it should get the award for best dogmatic response ever. Proving that theists can show that their point of view is factual and that it is the atheists with “blind faith-filled perceptions”

If it is not real then I have corrected it below

An intelligent mind is required to understand the process of evolution. A mind devoid of critical thinking skills, packed instead with blind faith-filled perceptions, unwilling to use one’s evolved ability to reason, is quite unlikely to understand such a complex process.

If edbooked’s response is real

I think we can safely assume so. Not sure what to make of “thespiritdog,” however.

Verifiable evidence, facts and figures.
Emotion has it’s place, but not in research.

Still not sure where you’re coming from. If you’re arguing against ID creationism, then I’d have to say you’re spot-on, since evidence is precisely what the creationists have failed to bring to the table. Emotion, yes. Argument-from-personal-incredulity fallacies, yes. But not evidence.

You can’t be referring to the Dr Seuss/ID mashup, since it isn’t purporting to be research: it’s purporting to be humorous.
